Warehouse Malta Facebook Contest

Debenhams has a successful own brand portfolio of approximately 55 own brands. Amongst these brands one finds WAREHOUSE. To mark the occasion of opening the first WAREHOUSE shop in Malta, Debenhams wanted to promote the event in an interactive way by using social media. A facebook contest was created. With the main audience being women, and their love for fashion, they were asked to create three outfits using WAREHOUSE clothes. The price included a €500.00 WAREHOUSE clothes voucher and Myoka Spa vouchers. Inspired by WAREHOUSE minimalist brand identity and their fresh new summer collection, when designing the interface for the facebook contest, a clean, elegant and simple approach was taken. The biggest challenge for us was to create the interactivity with the user, who had the possibility to choose the clothes, which were sorted by category – skirts, dresses ect… – and drag them into a custom designed fitting room to create the desired outfit. This was made possible through coding and a clean, structured layout design, which at the end delivered what we were after – a good user experience, which would make client’s come back to the WAREHOUSE facebook page.
